Mods are censoring many posts and comments lately, seems that they are afraid what people thinks...

Everyone knows what everyone thinks, no need to have a forum filled with 10,000 similar and redundant posts.... mods are doing an decent job all things considered...

FS-Member is moderating......lol....they like to use the banhamer if you think different.
He got banned for pulling out an old thread...common he is a developer and has done so many good stuff for IL series.

seriously, you receive cash for every ban?

Default Malicious intent: it's not present.

I will state this shortly and simply.

Foo'bar was banned for apparent 'malicious intent' and when it was clear this wasn't present the reason given was that he caused damage to user's systems.

So damage was done (apparently).

We have moderators who use ignore lists, and thus don't moderate efficiently or effectively, and clearly lack the unbiased, separate nature a moderator is required to have.

Hence damage is done, and will continue to be done.

I struggle to see the difference, especially when one is clearly intentional.

Please not as well: there is no suggestion here that the moderators are inefficient (so no grounds to get me into trouble) but rather my realistic perception that such a lack of objectiveness and fairness will always reap poor results.

-Thank you.

You've been foobar'd. Anyway its unfortunate as I don't believe there was any malicious intent involved.

Two thoughts:

1) Whatever his intent, it is the result that matters.

2) "I didn't know the gun was loaded" is not a viable defense.

He got what he deserved, even if he didn't think about the consequences of his actions.

It might have been a good joke, at some other time. But yesterday was not that time.

I was a bit pissed when I heard you were banned Foo'bar, I found it very disrespectful that a person who has contributed a lot of there own time (certainly a lot more than 99.9% of the other "fans") and is a supporter of the game was treated quite harshly.

Anyway see you in a few months dude and thanks for producing the awesome train models for COD they really are a piece of art I have a lot of respect for the work you have done.

What really is a slap in the face is that its clear for anyone that has a even half a brain cell is that you have done little to deserve a ban over 3/4 of the ppl that currently post on these forums have done more to deserve a ban than you have... such a same.

Foo'bar should be unbanned immediately, there is not a single poster on these forums that has done more for the game than he has if anyone has a right to moan about anything it's him he clearly spent a lot of time working on models for this game and from what I have seen he has had little to no respect from the users or 1C for all his efforts... such a shame.

P.S. I could name 100 users on this forum that have done more damage on these forums for "supporting" the devs than he has... a single unfortunate post and he is banned!!! Luthier, B6 you should intervene in this!
