Default Some quotes from the new (old) patch

>>Performance gain is considerable for crossfire, at least for me and its only using 50%-60% of each of my 4 GPUs so clearly more optimisation to come.

I get avg 40FPS and 80FPS max in BlackDeath with single card and avg 74FPS and 176FPS max with crossfire. I call that significant. This is only in single player though.<<

>>Great work guys! Best performance and smoothness so far!!

Black Death Track AVG 67 FPS MAX 168 FPS MIN 15 FPS.
ATI Crossfire working all 4 GPU cores 50 to 60% smoothly.
Settings all High with 8xAA SSAO on, grass, roads, shadows on full screen mode w/ vsync off.

I notice the spit vs 110 track stutters and drops FPS a lot with the clouds though.<<

>>Finally able to play in my Laptops native resolution of 1920 x 1080 WOW!

Just did some quick tests over london which was fantastic. Not got my stick plugged in yet so i cant really do a proper flight but I just launched the london and manston flights and used mouse to pan around. Got average of 37 in the black death which I would imagine is acceptable?<<

>>Best performance and stability ever on my rig. I unzipped into the main installation folder and then cleared the cache folders as usual before running the sim.

Before this patch i had trouble with my GPU not clocking up as it should, then i tried forcing the clocks which worked but gave me reboots, then i renamed the ubi logo video file which again gave me correct GPU speeds but also resulted in instability and reboots.

With the current beta patch i just set it to run in fullscreen mode and the catalyst drivers took care of everything else.<<

Some good endorsements there....I would also quote Robtek and some others but their posts seem to have been hastily removed....

Sadly, it all speaks volumes. The triumph of wishful thinking? It was a mean trick to play (I had no inkling or part) but you have to agree, it is instructive....

Rise of flight was released June 2009 so it is 3 years old. Clod is one year old...

Unlike some people I am having no problems what so ever with this game. I guess fps could be better down near the ground but it is still very playable by a long shot. What I am waiting for is Russia and the rest of the war because The Battle Of Britain was never my "Piece Of Cake" to begin with as far as likes in the theaters of war. You are basically doing the same route over and over every time you take off day in day out. Russia has water in the Crimea and your running all over the map in the mother land. The Mediterranean has a mirroriad of different landscapes to battle over. The Air War over Europe is back to flying over the channel but I like it better because I'm deffending over land over a large expansion hunting for targets. I've gone back to IL-2 for a while for it's great variety and old friends.

I like how people here like to tell you how to treat your women. Why dont you call your mom also and tell her you love her and thanks for giving birth to you.
