-DreamMode- Active...

Im dreaming of Fantasy 1000 Bomber raids on targets with fighter cover to match, splashes of AA scaring the sky left to right. The searchlights over the target trying to lock onto a heavy bomber as he is lit up my me 109 fire from his six. followed by the target getting obliterated as in a dresden firestorm and watching as the bombers head home victorious.

For 200+ aircraft... Twenty new aircraft each year for ten years. A new one every two and a half weeks.

Reading for comprehension is needed sir.

I don't choose aircraft as favortites because they are good in some silly video game, unlike most Lufties who fly the plane with biggest guns for easy kills online.

Trust me, if US or British, or any other aircraft had all the big elephant guns like the Gemrman planes did, and the German planes only had six machine guns, about two thirds of those flying FW 190s and 109s now would be flying the planes with the big guns.

Blahblahblah....

If the IL2 ever did feature a realistic P40, then it was a great plane to fly. More durable than any 109 ever dreamed to be. Fast responding controls, great maneuverability, good overall performance on most operational altitudes. Enough for a Luftwhiner to appreciate, maybe not for a Ameriwhiner(I can`t seem to remember what was the official name though) who flames devs two years for a P51, engages in a T&B at 2000m and splashes to the ground as a result most of the time. Then he takes the Spitfeuer IX because he can`t really fly anything else.

You would also show good faith to recall how much a lead P47 took before going down. Enough to make the single MG151/20 a shortcoming. Or maybe a B17/B26/B29 for that matter? P38 anyone?
The only plane that ever required any effort to fly from a redwhiner was the P39, which still was a very agile aircraft.

Everyone anticipates the real performance from the fifties this time. If CloD wants to be a better sim, this will be maybe the best weapon in the game, maybe close to the ShVak.

Also, if you haven`t noticed yet, the elephant guns as you put it, have their weight.

Dream about CloD?

Ok. A map from London to Berlin and a 1943-1945 dynamic campaign featuring the 8th Airforce against the Luftwaffe.

I'd pay easily 100€ for that. And 10€ for each flyable aircraft.

Eastern Front. Low-level tactical air support in a Hs 129. Or a Fw 190 F-3. Small-scale tactical operations in an interesting theater ... *sigh*

Do you think then that those two thirds will also start flying around their bases at low level waiting for the flack guys to do their job...?

I am sure you know that the Focke Wulf is much more than that.
As well as you know the P40 is more than a beautiful plane.

Salutes SG1_Majo.

That is again not true ElAurens. Not only german aircrafts had some big guns. A bf109 do not have elephant guns up to my view.

What about a p39 or a yak with cannons. They are quite bigger than bf109 G2 cannons, as far as i know. A FW 190 configured as interceptor sure had big guns. But a generally flown messerschmitt? I do not agree in elephant guns.

I have enjoyed IL2 46 for many years. It was the best Sim ever for me until the last patch. From that point there was no going back for me. I glad a lot still have a great fun with it.

<Dreaming>
Óne big map, with several fronts. Online servers running nonstop for weeks. Dynamic online campaines, moving fronts, 300 + payers online, R/R/R airbase and airplane. Sea and landbattles with air support involt. In other word, WW2 online. 100% exactly modelt airplane where ALL options are included in the CEM and counts as a facktor in those settings.
