Yes because after months of begging for more information and regular updates we are going to slam the updates we are now getting because its not what this person or that person wants to see...

Dissapointed.
I dont see the point in posting a week ago that the team is preparing the beta if I'm honest, hopefully the issue will not force the development team to have to wait another week to release.

I'm fine with seeing more more sequel pics. Hope to see more of the new terrain as well as some new planes!

I'm also probably most excited about the new sounds in the upcoming patch. I thought the last patch with the new sounds made this a WHOLE new sim. No more rehashed IL2 sounds. The RoF guy did an amazing job, can't wait to see what he has cooked up this time.

Also looking forward to the fps boost. That will be quite nice as well when flying low. Maybe can turn up some details too.

You guys are really spoiled, aren't you. Luthier and IL-2 developers are the most generous team I've ever seen in the gaming industry. Most games are not supported longer than one year, with handful of patches, many of them only to fix the bugs caused by previous one. Newer contents in patches are rare, most force us to buy DLC or expansion pack. Take "Empire Total War" as an example of how irresponsible a developer can be. This game was one of the most expected in history and ended up as a bugfest. Patches only came occasionally and did not really fix anything. Any history fan will facepalm to death when they see how inaccurate this game is. Finally, EA just conveniently dropped the game. The story didn't end there. They developed another game in the series called "Napoleon total war", which was a little bit better than an expansion pack, and sold it with full price. Well, at least most bugs are eliminated in the new game.
Luthier does surprise me with his supporting policy. And mind you: CloD is a very playable game. It's not perfect, it still has some bugs and performane issues, but it's playable and enjoyable. Luthier can stop here and go on making BoM, noone can really blame him, since it's the norm in game industry. But he does not do it, for that alone I'm graceful enough.
Each time I want to complain about the reversed mixture lever in the Spitfire, I talk to myself: well, at least that is historically much more accurate than the Redcoats firing tracers in the XVIII century.
