Why do i get a black screen

When i play il2 sturmovick cliffs of dover it lets me play until im about to fly. when i hit the button fly now it gives me a black screen and goes to desktop. please someone help me!!

Amd 4 core 620 proccesor.

Nividia Gforce 9500 GT

And definitely enough ram

My dads old system had a 9500gt - worked alittle before some of the big patches came out, but basically the card can no way handle clod!!

My old system with a 9600gt would run CoD but with all settings turned down and with fps between 20--28 over land. Grass, clouds and buildings are killers with a low specs system, turn them off or min.
