Dear Mr. Oleg and Olegboys,

let me introduce my proposition. Ive been an il-2 playerfor a long time, sice release back in 2001,flying for Blue and Red side both. Whatever i will say now, most of the other players will agree and some will not. As ussual.As I can compare the game now and before ,many, many things has changed. The whole problem is , these changes gone worse. About technic stuff i would talk later.

I fully respect you as a producer and respect all other parts of this bussiness net. Lets say, you as a russian game makers are trying to get more and more players who will buy this game. Guess your main target is to entertaint russian potentional players. We all know - more people interested make more income and thats well known truth, no metter what kind of game we produce.

As the time has gone, I started realize I am tending to be more and more in disadvantage and this all as a blue player, LW generally. To be honest, new patches were released to make it "better" but as a matter of fact, it has gone worse and more unreal. To be objective, some things stayed bad. I cant naturally say everything was "f* up" then.

As I saind i respect the publishers and producers way how to make a bussiness. I dont want to be a "forecaster" forcasting a future of il-2 and SOW BOB, generally the philosofy of producers game, but dont you ever think about if people have gone tired of loads of disadvantages ? You dont really work for just ONE society or group to make them satisfied arent you ? There is one more group-society, i mean the opponents.

Please be sure this is not an act of whinnin. I started this thing a long time ago and continue I will, because il-2 is kind of "drug" for me and for many other players and we dont really want to stop. Realize, somebody deals out our drugs with lower and lower quality and if after all of this, were gonna "die", what means, imagine, -> no consumers.

Sure thing is, il-2 is dieing, many outdor mods, opened sfs, so no need to take care from your side. Your bussy with sowbob and so, i will understand. What we should appreciate is any kind of anti cheating program, software, patch, whatever, where everyone, everywhere is SURE some else is not disturbing him by his hacking.

I would be interested in a statistics of consumers who bought a game and after what time they decided to uninstall it.

What i am trying to say is to stop disadvantage the second part of your customers from whom you are paid. Our online community is surely growing up and you are giving someone to the corner. Please understand, there are not only russian, homeland people playing and paying for your job.

I would be glad not to be banned, deleted or argued by any nonsense answer but i will expect a regular discusion.

By this way I say to world il-2 community is not satisfied completely. I also hope this letter will be red by any Oleg Boys or to be strict - by Headquater of this place. If Oleg read it, my greetings to him

At first, i do not need any "hand clapping" people who will join my march when i tell loudly "gone worse" of "f*up". It was not my point in this place. The mentality of this kind of phorum is unknown to me and i dont really care about these kind of persons who will just say " wft you talking about" or "go to hell".

At second, i do not know what are you searching for in my style of writing. Do i mention yours ?

At third. Whats wrong about telling out the words like russian or pay for your job ? Just expressions of my feelings, right?

We can't all speak and write in English like native speakers (i'm not a native speaker either) so that is not the point. If someone has a good point, it will get across despite using the wrong words or grammar.

What the rest of the guys are trying to say is that you sound a little bit aggressive for this forum, that's all. Of course, you are very honest when you say that you are not familiar with the mentality of this forum and for that personally, i would not take offense to your style, i'd just tell you that "this is not how we do things here". However, others do take offense and become aggressive against you in return. Which to be honest, doesn't really help getting the point across either.

Rocksteady: just play original IL-2. Forget about 46. Original is much more enjoyable. Less planes, granted, but better overall feeling. Shame that there is no DS for it

I am not sure if you are referring to the countless hacks and exploits on international online servers or that the Blue Team is seriously disadvantaged against the Red Team?
To answer your second question first. I fly 109’s and 190’s in Combat on the ADW server and I assure you, Red planes have no advantage at all. But if you are flying an air quake server then turn based fighters will have an advantage.
Pilot skill determines who wins any engagement, I have seen a 109 jock out turn and out flying I-16’s at low level downing two planes in the dogfight and living to tell about it. If you know ADW you will know pilot skill is paramount to success and that the community does not tolerate hacks.
Your first question - No hacks or cheats are needed but people still want to prove they are the best, they have various names depending on the game but I like the “Stats Whore” best. It’s a dog eat dog world in the virtual sky and some pilots resort to hacking for that extra boost in speed or turn ability and others are using the sound mods to gain an advantage.
But honestly when I go on an air quake server I expect nothing less and take no offence. However on ADW I know if I go down in flames it is because I was bested by a pilot better than me.
Oleg has stressed that after 409 patch he is done with Il2 and all his attention will be on Storm of War.
So in a nutshell, choose servers without cheaters, one that is community based and has a loyal following and your experience will be hack free. Or fly air quake and enjoy.
As for anyone saying that a 190 Dora or T152 has any equal in the sky on the Red team has not flown with any experienced pilots.
Don’t blame the tools look at the workman, and in Il2 most complaints come from pilots who just don’t quiet meet muster…
