Some might think its weak to invest 20 years into a WWII computer game.

As far as I see it your spoiled that you can overspend on something that you do not need to overspend on. Now that is values "out of relation."

bottom line is...buy this game. If you want to try it at a cheap price because it is unfinished and has many problems go ahead. If you want to throw money at it in a desperate attempt to keep devs working go ahead also. Just don't criticize the values of those who don't want to.
There is again this broken record mantra "flawed and unfinished" as if this were something special regarding to CoD.

Most, if not all, Software is "flawed and unfinished" when it is published.

Ok, in the case of CoD it was a bit more than usual, WAS!, now CoD is for the majority of players enjoyable, even in this "flawed and unfinished" state.

You, Sir, are calling a few cent per hour entertainment overpaid, that is out of relation for me.

It dosen't matter when you buy it as all future updates and improvements for CloD are entirely free. This is a pretty complex game so the sooner you buy it the earlier and more time you will get to tackle the enourmouse learning curve you will need to get your head around the ins and outs of all the controls needed to fly properly. So when all the glitches are ironed out you will be good to go.

Well, Ive downloaded it now and played it for a couple of hours and i'm impressed. my rig handles it fine, with little or no stuttering and a decent frame rate.

FM is good and I'm getting my head round the engine management slowly.

Glad I bought it!!!!!

Have a play round with quick missions, set up crazy dogfights like 2 109's vs 6 blenhiems!

Performance has improved a lot since I re-installed from zero three weeks ago... Maybe because of the patches, maybe re-installation, maybe whatever, but now I am finally enjoying flying the sim, what was my intention since the beginning.

Nice job, and please keep pushing and don´t give up improving.

Rgds.

those are not crazy dogfights....i suggest go into fmb and set 1 109 as player plane and 70 spits or hurris against you...(or the opposite:1spit or hurri against 70 109s)that is fun and not really hard to survive with the current AI.
