Server Fail Authentication
"ServerFailAuthentication" the other thread on this turned into a vulch debate so I started a new one to hopefully get some useful information.
Does anybody know how to Join the server you are getting this message from? You're free to go into any other server and play online, but the one that thinks you're still playing on it will not let you join again when you disconnect before finishing the connection process. How can WE fix this?

You have to persuade Steam that you are not playing on that server somehow.
Someone say that it is enough to log off from Steam. If it does not help, try switching your PC off for 5 minutes or play another server long enough for Steam to learn you are actually there. To me this error happens only if I chose to disconnect before server join process is 100% complete. I try to avoid this. Last edited by Ataros; 11-13-2011 at 12:19 PM.
