Default Recording Tracks

Is there a way to record tracks on the hoof at all i.e. toggling a button on and off.

Reason I ask is I would like to recall segments of online action but not obviously an hour or so's flying?

I think we need back the button call for track toggle on/off. Too awkward to switch back to the menue to start one.

Also we need the ntrk format back.

Big plus one from me too.

On a side note, CoD's little brother just announced a neat little camera wobble effect for external view and playbacks. Should be useful for movie makers out there.

IL2 is better than CLoD in a number of ways and recording and playing tracks is one of them.

Do we really have to switch to the menu in order to start recording, and no option to save the entire mission track after you end your mission !?

A +1 from me too! Such a shame that while IL2 has improved in many areas, it has taken a step backwards in others.

Gunsight set to fire guns, spare keystroke for off would be lovely!

Actually I must chip in here and agree completely with most of these posts.

To be able to save a replay at the end of a flight is a real bonus but to have a quick record button is almost as essential.

It seems crazy to have to predict you will have a good mission before you fly it, whereas after a flight you know if it's worth saving?

+1

Cheers, MP
