Default COOP script

Naryv created a script that can be used to play some coops in the old IL-2 style.

How it works?
Upon side selection a player is automatically moved into one of available planes. Then if he does not like the plane selection he can choose another airgroup, aircraft or position via the Mission Menu: press TAB then 4 , etc. When a player is happy with the selection he should confirm that he is ready to fly via selecting "2" in the menu.

When all mission players confirm their readiness, the script removes an 'idle' status from AI planes and the mission starts.

You can use the script with any other COOP mission:

1. Make sure all aircraft in the mission are put on 'idle' in FMB (check the 'idle' checkbox).
2. Rename the script .cs file to the same name as your mission .mis file and put it into the same directory.

There can be some bugs in the script. Please report them here.

This is rather a basic sample of what is possible. I hope our C# programmers can improve and fine-tune the script to everyone's needs or even create new more advanced and interesting game-modes.

You can actually fly an attached sample mission.

Thanks, I was thinking about the same system. It should be improved to support air groups that spawn in the air (idle doesn't work for these, right?): If everyone is ready the script should call all actions that have a specific prefix, these actions will spawn the air groups. Of course this only works for AI only planes (this way it would also be possible to create AI only air groups).

Thank you for transporting and translation, Ataros.

Currently the mission menu is still buggy. It took me a month testing and searching, now I am sure that the bug is related to the number of airgroups active.

As soon as there are 5 blue airgroups active, the radio menu and the netstats window are no longer available for RAF planes. This bug restricts this system to only 4 groups on blue side.

naryv just replied that it is possible to spawn on idle in the air. The groups will go to next waypoint only when idle status is removed.

Looks like the menu in your example still works with more than 5 airgroups http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/attachmen...2&d=1319622241
Could you give more details on the problem in that thread at sukhoi please.

That`s interesting. It didn´t work on our dedicated server, nor on my own dedicated server.

Maybe Narvy didn´t test it in the dedicated mode or didn´t close the radio menu between the loadings, or we have to reinstall the game on our server and I have too, on my PC. But anyhow, I will try to register over there, even though my cyrillic is a little rusty...
