Your 47 inch LCD is on and the broadcast is in High Def.

Everything is PERFECT and you've got many hours of super fun.

Referee blows the whistle and the game starts and...the broadcast is interrupted and replaced with a text "we are sorry for the interuption. Please stand by" for the duration of the game.

How do you feel?

Now take that feeling and extend it for +6 months and you've got my reason for b!tching.
At least you realize that you are bitching! But you are damaging the image of the sim further with that!

To give your example some resemblance to reality, the broadcast happened in standard resolution in black and white, but it happened.

Of course...but it's a case where all those who have 'pain' are making the assumption that it the case for everyone, if a game falls below my expectations I just walk away and leave it and put it down to a bad experience (Duke nukem forever) I wont make it my lifes work to trash it on every forum like a mad 'bunny boiler'.

Well, with your rig i am not surprised that it doesn't run well, regardless whats printed on the package.

When i had my last launcher.exe crash, the launcher.exe used 3.1 gb ram, on your system that has to be shared with windows.

If you are lucky the next patch will reduce your problems, but with your system they wont go away, i'm afraid.

that is as much of true as those who have the game running are assuming its perfect to everyone.

my game only runs 1 gig of ram. i have 1 gig of ram for win7 and 1 waiting impatiantly for COD to use it. Same goes to CPU where only 1 core has the joy of being used by COD, and GPU who only goes up to 70%.

waht says on the box should be true, i wish i lived in russia, i would have gone there and sue them by now.

but I don't see much of that happening......really, all that happens is 'some' people make a post that they really are enjoying the games progress and having a great time and then the ones who aren't just come in an accuse them of being 'fanbois'.

I would like to see a single post where someone with a 'positive' experience has claimed it must be the same for everyone, but the ones with a 'negative' experience are always very damning and totalitarian.

"Die hard hypnotized fans" are only a product of some peoples imagination!

They don't exist in reality!

And, fyi, complaining doesn't help anybody, it only grates on the nerves.

Reporting, in the right threads otherwise is proper, helpful and recommendable.

Who knows maybe they will feel so good after the hug that they take a whole day off of whinning? With that said.. We need to start a list.. or better yet let them take a number to get in line for a hug.. That or let the rest of us vote on who needs the hug the most.. Maybe a Hug a whiner day of the week thing.. Something like a poll where the rest of us get to vote for which whinner is in most need of a hug this week.. Hmmm.. No that probally wont work because each week Tree_UK is sure to get the most votes.. Probally best that we just have them pick a number.. Than we can have them line up and go down the line and give each one a big hug
I concur with TreeUK opinion on this post...

The moment you pay for a product, you become a customer, and as such you have rights, especially if what they sold you is a product that is not working or doesn't live up to the expectations you were promised. Look what they're doing with Take On Helicopters, they're selling a running beta, no gimmicks. 1C was strangled by Ubisoft (the real issue here, together with the poor managing of Maddox Games), and hurried to put an unfinished game on the market. They're not the first nor the last to do it,but it doesnt change this may piss people off. What annoyed me (and still does actually) is that the PR of Maddox are s**t,and after so many years they still don't seem to care or understand the importance of it (Luthier shouldn't even begin to think about posting on Sukhoi.ru, if he's so busy as they say he should ONLY post here,he works for 1C,not Sukhoi.ru).

Having said that, they're doing a great job,but it'd be interesting to know where all the money went and when they will stop it with the garage business attitude and get a project manager with balls..
