Personally I'd rather see the Halifax and Lancaster for later scenarios.

With regards to altitude modeling, the battle was from my understanding played out between 4-6k and of the German bombers at least the Do-17 and 111 had service ceilings of only 6k, the Ju88 was the only one with a higher ceiling but even that was with no load!

The beaufighter would make a good addition to the RAF as a flyable, definately capable as a multi role job, and would make a good counterpart to the 110C-7
Maybe a Beaufort would be a good addition. Give em a HP Heyford or Harrow, that would be good for a laugh

You are talking about kilometres man (and you are right). I refer to feet Blenheim in CoD is completaly hopelles above 4 k kilometres but its true ceiling was over 8k (and you never even near to this height in CoD or at least I have not although spent hours and hours testing all possible settings).

The German bombers in CoD are quite okey. So (so so) are the fighters of both sides.

Personally, I'd like to see a Short Sterling, but given that they were not operational until January 1941, they may have to wait for game expansion into different years & theatres.

Mosquito... I absolutely love that plane
But then you would probably need a Norway map as well for some Fjord Sub base raids

Even though the Germans are well represented the Do-17 is needed as a flyable too. The battle was really Spits and Hurricanes vs the three main German bombers (He-111, Do-17 and Ju-88 ), with the 109:s and 110:s protecting them...

Having said that, the Wellington would be nice as a flyable, and the Hampden, and the Beaufighter, and the Whirlwind

Agreed, the blue jobs would love it, but is there still enough info around for the team to make a credible representation of it in game?
