Well, I fly bombers, fighters and fighter-bombers. But the point is that i don't believe that gunners can rotate turrets and aim guns like in IL-2 1946. It's really UNREAL.

This is the point, not advantage in MP servers: one WWII bomber without escort wasn't the "Death Star" like in Il-2 1946, their gunners must face real trouble tracking fast maneuver aircraft.

One thing is aim guns over stationary fighter in your six, other is what we see in IL-2 1946, bomber, fighter-bomber or fighter pilot: Aimbot gunners

Bombers need proper escort, not laser turrets.

I wish the tracers were visible to the range where you could see them drop like in il2 1946

not laser turrets.
In CloD gunners fire with (jammed) air guns!

But fighters:

In Blenheim is really worst, you can not every aim properly.

AI gunnery is OK to me:

Regards control in gun turrets and stuff, Y mouse axis maybe can work inverted by default and i don't find the possillity to assign axis controls to rotate guns mount. Will be nice to rotate these things with my rudder axis. And all the "F10" route to use mouse control for gun control is so much trouble for nothing: if someone jump to a gun turret, moving the mouse need to work as default moving the gun.

It's a bug. Maybe in next patch solved? When you set AI to control your aircraft you only use mouse button to fire with gunner, if you control aircraft sometimes can use other fire input mapped. The point is that we don't need to have more sniper gunners like in IL-2 1946, even AI ones. It's ruins the gameplay in IL-2 1946, totally unrealistic.

CloD is much better, even with this bug in human controled gunner. Just this bug solved and some tweak in mouse gun itself - Turret control in CloD need to work with mouse control as default, and with better sensitivity settings.

My point: Power to human controlled gunners with better mouse sensitivity options and axis to gun mount movement if wanted. And leave the AI gunnery settings in CloD as it is. It's much better than IL-2 1946.

Notice that if set AI in ACE the gunners are "snipers" like in 1946.

Yes, we have this option. In IL-2 1946, not.

I tested being a rear gunner in a Bf-110 flown by a squad mate last night on the Repka #1 server.

It cannot be so, that when I drag the mouse whole length of my mouse pad the gun turns just about 5 degrees or so. About 10 drags to get it from side to another. So, we are flying near England and surprise surprise, we get a Spit on our six .. The gun is useless, as when I start to drag in the direction of the Spit, the Spit moves, and there is no way I can keep up. Only when the Spit makes the mistake of parking on the six I get a shot or two off.

The firing button is buggy too. I set the firing of the gun to right mouse button for obvious reasons. When ever I pressed the button, only couple of rounds were fired even when I kept pressing it. So I had to go mad on the button to keep firing.

On top of this, the firing sound stuck on, so the rest of the flight I was emptying the magazine .. Quite annoying.

One positive thing was the kick of the weapon. As I fired, the gun bounced a bit so I had to adjust it (the slow movement didn't help at all ).

Default inverted mouse...

Inverted mouse controls, no range of motion and terrible aiming...these turrets leave your bomber defenceless..
How to correct the settings? Invert?
