Is it not the pressure on the cabin/cockpit....the straining of the metal frame bending under high +/- G?

yeah, that's what supposed to simulate, but it's a really rough sound (a placeholder, not the final one), in reality you would hardly hear it, since the noise of the engine is deafening and covers pretty much everything else but the machine guns.

Sounds more like the sound you'd hear while crash-diving a submarine than anything.

I agree the sound could be better but I like it being present in the first place. J don't have a force feedback stick and the noise helps a lot to keep tabs on the rate of turn. Doubt it was that loud over the engine though.
