This is not political, it's social. And it's the next level in consumerism.. "F**k it, let's just take it"

This is what happens when kids grow up with no concept of either consequence or respect and are constantly bombarded with ads for a lifestyle they can never have. It's still inexcusable.

Somebody needs to start a facebook group for the men of this country to stand up to the boys, what that lot need is the kicking of thier lives..

Couple of thousand men per city should do.. These kids need to be put back into place.

Ghettos...? F**k Off in your £90 trainers... dicks.

Having said that, let's hope they burn down Manchester Arndale, the cold dead heart of Manchester would not be missed.

Default well put winny

I completley agree with all said, my own statements were my atempt at devils advocate. though i still blame the conservative mainly because i think they will cause riots legitimate one in the near future.

Its getting ridiculous now, people are rioting and looting all over the country and they don't even know why!! They just want to cause trouble.

Did anyone see the response that young chav gave sky newswhen asked why they were doing it? He replied -

We just wanna piss the police off.

Things are getting out of hand, if this carries on then people are going to lose faith in the police and take the law into their own hands.

This whole situation is embarrasing for our country.

The rioting hasn't quite hit my town yet, though theirs small pockets of youths etc causing trouble. Lets see how the next couple of nights go for us all. For anyone who's in a town/city that has violence then my heart goes out to you. Hope you and your families are ok.

Unhappy

The violence and looting is just down the road from me in Manchester, local clowns destroying their local shops. Also i heard tonight football firms are getting ready to sort things out, due to the fact that football fixtures are being affected by the riots.

i dont know about over there but even in the big cities here when it gets to that point the police are so out numbered they become ineffectual. i saw online where the price aluminum baseball bats on amazon over there went up 6000%.... sounds like its time to declare martial law and bring in the troops....the boys in green until everything cools down.

There's not many times I truly hang my head in shame but this is one of them. To what end does any of this 'help' our society. It's about time we put our 'political correctness' to one side and started to come down hard on anti-social behaviour. Sadly we have become a roll over and take it nation where morals and integrity seem to have totally vanished. The cult of personality seems to have become the norm with young people having 'role models' such as Jordan and Rooney. I've still yet to hear any form of justification for it that doesnt include the words 'innit, like, sick and it was great man'. We sadly have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters who without any form of moral compass have no shame or guilt for what they are doing. Watching BBC's Newsnight I watched with mouth open when a group of 'youths' were 'bigging' up what they had done in tottenham yet in the same breath were then wanting to know how they would get their Giros that week because 'da post office burned down and that'.
And as much as it's unlikely that the trouble will reach my quiet corner of the country (what they going to loot- sheep, pastures?) they better come prepared to my house as it's already close to the glorious 12th and Ive adopted
their attitude and may well mistake some sh1tty little peasants for the game bird of a similar name. I know at the minute which I'd prefer to shoot at.

Edit: strangely this no longer seems like a good japanese film but a policy we should adopt
