Default info about loadout bug!

ok guys, i post this, because i see a lot of confusion and false assumptions regarding the loadouts.

custom loadouts only work, if you play multiplayer or in single player self made missions!!!
if you make a mission by yourself and create a certain loadout in that mission, then it will work every time!
if you play a quick mission and try to use your custom loadout, it wont work!because you cannot load the bullets but actually only the fuel amount in the mission menus!

i think the confusion comes when its about the mission menus!i think most people save their fuel amount settings and bullets as one expression, and think its safed as the same file. well, wrong!
then they go to quick missions and see their profile under the plane they decide.true, but selecting this profile will only change the fuel amount of your plane and i think also the weapons(if they are completely empty or actual carry ammo, or if you have the bracket to carry bombs), but not the bullets you loaded!

the bug is, that all custom loadouts will not work in the missions created by maddox games!the mission will automatically load the loadout that was created in that mission by the devs.the only thing you can change in the default missions is the fuel amount and type of weapons(in the bf for example you have two options for every weapon,..its the same weapon, but one is completely empty) and not the bullets!
but you should be able to change the loadout, when you load those default quick missions in the FMB and then carry the bullets you want in the FMB.

but if you play self made missions, or in multiplayer, or the quick missions which you have changed in the FMB first, then, and only then, the loadouts will work, and then they will work every time!

Custom weapon loadouts are stored in the user.ini file under whatever name you gave that particular loadout. Just can copy that loadout and paste into your single mssions using 'Notepad' under the entry 'Weapons' for the players ac (quicker than opening them using FMB if you have lots of single player missions with default loadouts).

yes SEE you are right!thats even easier than what i suggested!
i just made this thread, cause i see a lot of confusion, and many people think that they can create custom loadouts and use them in the quick missions.

cheesehawk i will try that and let you know what i experience.
Edit:you are right!if you have a profile, and then make a new one, this will be the default one, regardless whether you select the previous one or not.even if you delete the new profile, the game will create a "custom" profile by itself using the bullets you loaded with the new one.

but you will be able to use both profiles in the FMB.
thx cheesehawk for this info.
