I havent had the sound issue more than once before, but last night when I spawned on the Repka server I had no sounds immediately, oh well nothing to do but wait until they redo the sound. |

My ffb goes in and out more frequently. I am locking up much more often. Especially free hunt mission. This patch is a step back for me.. Before I could play at least one full mission before any crashes. I am getting launcher errors and crashes about three minutes into game.

are there any servers out there that dont use AI so we can test?, dont think its a actor bug as mine is turned off and i still get it.

I know you are tired of the ships already, but here it goes anyway.
Good points to report: 1. The Minensuchboot 35 is now listed as such. 2. It does actually fire its main weapons. Bugs still present. 1. The combined power of all guns (2x 10,5cm, 1x double 3,7cm and 2x single 2cm)of a Minensuchboot 35 with average gunners and a fire rate of 5 is not capable of reliably sinking a tanker while going along side it at 300m for 20 minutes! This is the state of the tanker after 20 minutes, still going at 20km/h! ![]() 2. Contrary, the tanker armed with the (that is the listed name) 3 inch 20 QWT MK.I can one shot the Minensuchboot. Additonally, in the chat window the cannon is listed as a 5 inch 20 QWT MK.I. Though the only 5 inch cannon mounted on armed merchants was the AMERICAN 5"/51 caliber gun. Just to show you how obviously different these two cannons are: http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNBR_3-45_mk1.htm - British 12-pdr [3"/45 (7.62 cm)] 20cwt QF http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNUS_5-51_mk7.htm - US 5"/51 (12.7 cm) Marks 7 So, what gun is this supposed to be and why is the Minensuchboot made out of paper? ![]() 3. The platform on the forecastle of the tanker seams to disappear (destroyed without debris??) and therefor the gun mounted on it will float in the air. ![]() 4. The top speed of the Minensuchboot 35 is wrong. It can only travel at a max 20 km/h, though its top speed actually is 18,2knots = ~33km/h. 5. Important: All armed merchants, both British and US, had their big caliber cannons mounted at the stern and not the bow! 6. The US did not arm their merchants during the BoB and until 17 November 1941, so there should be no 5" gun available for the merchant tanker. Hi all,
no more then 3 hours testing, but I noticed a general slight decrease in performance compared to previous version, CloD is less fluid and I experienced for very first time 1-2 seconds stutters every 10-15 mins of playing (I cleared the cache folder and .ini files before patching..). The very annoying thing is how at spawn the airplane with 'cold' cockpit and engine off is subject to wind breeze! It slide on the grass with a puff of wind! ![]() In campaign mode (attempted 4 first time since release) the most annoying thing is that u have to warm-up your engine on scramble take-off, while your squadron leader slam opens the throttle and take off. 'Pre warmed engine' option would be great. There would be much to say on 'slam open the throttle'....I never flown a warbird but I think when u unchains an 2000 Hp piston engine quickly opening the throttle should happens something very different from what is modelled in CloD. Very unsatisfied ![]() |

In settings Controls/View, there are always 2 settings for External View command. The other one cannot be deleted. Why?
Other double settings like Panview/PanLeft can be deleted, but External View cannot. Is this a bug??? ------------------- Maybe deleting those double settings isn't totally safe: I deleted several and now all my quick missions look as if it was midnight ![]() Last edited by slm; 06-26-2011 at 09:00 AM. |

I was flying one of the quick missions. My Hurricane collided in air with an enemy fighter and the whole nose part of the plane fell down (see the screenshot). Despite this huge crash it seems no damage was done to the pilot. I could fly normally, like engine switched off.
I would think: -the pilot would be in pretty bad shape -controlling the plane with such huge and heavy (the engine) piece missing would be very difficult In a similar mid-air collision, but this time with my wingman, my Bf-109 lost its tail. You can see from screenshot's texts. I was expecting the plane to become unflyable, that it would just dive towards the ground.
