I think the BoB era planes were fitted with a upwards pointing 3'' spike, hence the stiff/static posture.

Most pilots slackened off their harness and cinched it up for landings/crash-landings, according to everything I've read. I agree that the pilots as currently rendered look un-naturally postured.

I agree with the OP. When I fly, my shoulders don't touch the seat as my arms are extended to the flight column and other instruments. My lower and middle back is in full contact with the seat however.

If the CoD pilot model had more curvature to the spine, the chin would be further away from the chest and look more natural.

Low priority fix, but well spotted

Hi Jotael!

You are 110% right!!

It kills the realismfactor.

Beeing a modelmaker of RC scalepilots it really bothers me.

Have not found any flightsim that depicts the pilots
posture in the right way,...yet.....

Kind regards
Seejay

Not true?!

Have a nice game and enjoy it.

S!

I could care less if the pilots looked like Krusty Clown or something. Flying from cockpit view as prefer realism. Occasional external views for screenshots and even then if trying to get a pic of a bug or something. Really, wasting resources on pilot posture is useless. Rather see other bugs fixed and performance issues resolved than a "Combat Ken" ragdoll in cockpit

This is right, Clodo pilots look all like some granpa trying to read his newspapers without the right glasses (you know, where the arms are not long enough)

Not exactly the most urgent problem to correct, but to be corrected when there is more time.
Because this is this kind of details which makes a sim look less artificial.

I do love this kind of vision of the "simming".

Hey, why not no pilots in the aircrafts, you save so some polys, so you get 2 fps more, fuuuuuuuun

Thx to all for sharing their opinions.

Flanker35M, i have fun with this sim , but i enjoy looking good screenshots and films.

Strike i understand now, then models are correct, but their expressions should be more expicit.
