I had xp + Intel E5200@2.5ghz + 4GB + GTS250 gpu, I could play the game at 1280x800 with everything low expect model details and decals at highest. Some stutters could be seen, just like everyone has.

Then I upgraded my gpu to Asus 6970 with 2GB mem, I could see very very minimal increase in FPS. Then I updated to windows 7 and immediately I could play at full resolution + high details (with the april 15 patch though).

So I would suggest you to update to windows 7 if you want to play this game I'm a happy pilot now.

As posted elswhere here and on SimHQ, I had the same problem using XP Pro 32 SP 3 and an EVGA GTX460 1Gb.

I switched to Seven 64 (wanted to do it already before COD) and no more problems.

But I too have noticed that older cards don't seem to have that problem, maybe it's the newer models designed for DX10/DX11 (as the 460) that have problem running this game in DX9...

Exact Card I have. EVGA GTX460. So maybe its a issue with DX9 and this card and not a flaw in the card itself. Wont be able to upgrade for another month or so to test and see if changing OS's fixes my graphics bug with this card. Till then Im having to use my Good ol'e trusty EVGA GTX260!
