If you can afford it I7 2600K is the way to go (with the I5 2500K right behind it). Use a Corsair H60 water cooling kit to cool down your CPU for a great $$$/performance ratio.

As for a MOBO: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe rev3 is a good choice.

Video cards: Right now looks like NVIDIA cards a less prone to stutters, but this will surely change soon.

Get as much RAM as you can afford and a Sata III SSD drive.

That is the PRO model, so you are giving up a few options but still a VERY GOOD MB.

If the price is right for you, it's hard to beat that combo.

Thumbs up

I'm suggest you think about it.

If you want a new system that's fine. If better play in BOB COD is your motivation leave off until the reviews are all coming in thumbs up; based on your proposed system configuration.

I wouldn't make any new computer system purchases based on BOB COD at this time. There will be more patches, and the US version isn't released. The US release will bring large numbers of new users and probably more issues will be exposed.

That is good advice, but if you are due for an upgrade, I seriously doubt that you would go wrong with the combo you've showed me. And iL2-1946 would run GREAT on that system.

Yes it would be stupid to make decisions based on COD now, BUT it you are about to buy a new computer even without COD and the money is not a problem (so you won´t be in trouble with bills or anything if you buy it) I suggest you get the best you ever can. At least it will be good even a year after and you wont have to buy new computer next year when some other game comes out and makes it obsolete.
