Nike-it: Can we play the russian version in other countries?

Can you please clarify if we (who don't support this epilepsic ...) have any possibility to get the russian version (which will have that filter switchable) to play in other countries? Have you already answered if there's english language in it, btw?

For me it would be Germany, p.e.

um they havent released the switch yet for the russain version.

I do not want to start any rumors. The answer is that I simply do not have such kind of info. The language as far as I understand is selected by Steam automatically and I don''t think it's possible to run the game now somewhere besides Russia.

just going to take a guess here but if it is multi lingual then as long as i were to never try and use the multi player functions i could just play it in offline mode correct? that way steam would not even come into play rite?

My goal is to somehow buy the original game without all the silly changes i don't care at all about the multi player just that the game looks like it was intended to look if this is possible then im going to be one happy camper

So you know, Russian and English versions are in the neighborhood under one address to the incentive, so there are all sorts of idiosyncrasies as we contract them to keep apart. If it had not been in the neighborhood, everything would be much easier with some small but - two versions would be incompatible network

Yes, but all the config files are in English. Very challenging but if nothing else it gives me a chance to map the incredibly extensive controls.

I'm telling you I've seen 'em all and this one has more optional controls than any sim - prop or jet.

Make sure you go to your /Windows/Users/YOURNAME/Documents/1CSoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover directory to work with conf and confUser files. You can find them in /Steam/SteamApps/Common/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover directory too - but those are not the active ones.

It's a lot of work - but this sim is more than worth it to me.
