Default No anti-aliasing for COD??

ive read a few posts in the russian forums that say there is no anti-alising option for COD, this is 2011 right?

this has to be a mistake right?

from the russian forum...

My configuration:

ASUS MAXIMUS III FORMULA LGA1156 i5750 @ 4000Ghz, 8Gb PC12800, 2xGTX560Ti (SLI)
* At maximum settings - slow.
* Anti-aliasing is not included
* Frequent departures
* Consistently produces an error when the request to restart the game
* Sound - a feeling - that he lives his life. Lag, strange sound after planting and so on.
* RUS and other moving parts in the cockpit jerk
* Some of the devices - get out of the geometry of the device itself.
* In the rearview mirror some beleberda
* Craft fly through the trees - but the wing pieces broke on the radar

You probably just set in in the graphics driver controls like Il2. Fine by me.

I think the original Russian poster was saying he did not include tests with anti-aliasing turned on in his posts - most probably because his machine could not handle it.

No AA included in game settings? In 2011? I doubt!

Thumbs up AA is available.

But we have already seen that AA is an option.

Theres about a dozen videos on youtube posted by

http://www.youtube.com/user/Vaal87

Altho most of the videos are irritating since they are 12 seconds in length.. A few goodies tho. I noticed he likes to play with no realism. Flying into trees without damaging the plane and whatnot..

I did notice he's playing on a Radeon 4890. Comperable to a Nvidia GTX 275. So just to give you an idea of what to expect. If your running a more recent card. Odds are you'l be able to get better framerate at that level of detail.

AA does not work on my ATi 6970 card with the Cat 11.4 drivers. There is no difference that I can see between AA = 0 and AA = 8x. Attempts to force it via the CCC do not work. No doubt it is on their list of things to fix.
