wow
really REALLY looking forward to ground-attack missions now that we know that shooting at locomotives is (hopefully) going to look quite like guncam videos

makes me wonder what ammo-dumps and cars loaded with fuel/ammunition will look like when they go up in flames

thanks for the update guys, it's really appreciated

The strafing shots do look fantastic. The planes look menacing as they approach with guns blasting no doubt. The scaling of the trees compared to the vehicles looks great as well, the ground level doesn't feel like a miniature which you get sometimes with flight sims.

Really looking forward to this title, thanks for the update and responses to questions Oleg and Luthier

They need to be edited. Traslated by Ilya in background. Becasue the speech there is Russian.

Perhaps he flew with an open hood? No need to jettison then.

Btw Oleg is this your new office? Huge step ahead then!

That explains the dirty look he got from the bloke walking past, he was obviously thinking "That Luthier, he's supposed to be translating the videos, but noooooooo, he's just chuckling like a maniac while playing!!!"

I actually did just that in the very beginning of the video. You can also adjust brightness, and play with the distance and whatever the second dial is on the British sight, etc.

Were the screenies made on that system?

Will there be the 64 bit exe in the initial release?
I dont see jaggies so I think theres a least some AA and the overall quality looks more than good. Thanks Luthier and Oleg for listening to us ,seeing that video running quite well on that machine is really a sigh relief. Thanks again to the team working on the game

About the screenshot #2, wasn't the hood of the Spitfire usually jetisonned instead of being slided back in open position before the pilot bailed out?
Not on the early ones, they had to slide those back. The Martin Baker jettison version came a little bit later (from memory)

You wouldn't have much chance of seeing a lack of AA in a video shot in that manner.
