I've often wondered the same thing, with peoples complaints about colors. Every monitor displays colors differently and you can have a huge range of color outputs with the slight touch of a slider in the control panel of your monitor or graghics card settings.

wheni first go online with this sim i will fly low over the cliffs of dover and shoot down all the over the top nit pickers as they will to busy inspecting the individual rendering of blades of glass or contrast of hedges against the colour of tarmac, they will never see me on there six as they will be to busy looking at there roundals and the ones measuring train lengths are completely going to get it
LMAO, I couldn't agree more. Some of the nitpicking on this forum and at places like "allaircraftsimulations" has been unbelievable especially from couch-potato pilots! Complaints about exhaust flame colour, length, shape. Complaints about the clouds etc ad nauseum. I'm surprised noone has complained about the colour and textre of the AIR represented in the sim, LOL.

Personally I can't wait for this one and am hoping it expands into the heavy bomber campaign later on with flyable 17s and 24s.

So good point that Swiss, maybe some monitor calibration might be in order.
This must make the developers take color complaints with a grain of salt. I'm sure developer as professional photographer knows what the colors should look like. So its boils down to the developer having technical issues getting the color palette right, or its our own individual problem The first is difficult to fix the latter not so much.

Hence why we should all sit, patiently, and await release now.

Maybe they should add calibration software to the game.

Well, clouds do not look incredebly good...
In fact, they look the same as those from Forgotten Battles, long time ago...

Modded clouds of Il-2 1946 look better - than these presented so far.

If March release is true: it is last moment to present "new clouds"... or admit that there are no "new clouds"... no diversity in clouds shapes.

Do some research... The clouds your seeing are the old clouds and are a place holder for the new clouds, which may or may not make the initial release. IF they don't make it they will certainly will be added later as a free update.
