Data Delivery at Placid Station-Stuck

Ok, i got the data disk an have docked and waited, undocked an waited, chased MF fighters, pirates, ect.....viola!!! NOTHING HAPPENS....
Can not find the agent, or give the data to anything at the station.
Is this a bug?
OR
Can anyone give me a clue here?

i got problem with quest not trigger, but not this one.

try load the game b4 you enter the sector

if all failed, chk the log.txt in the game folder, lookup error from bottom up, find those err related quest, and post here

Well i searched on the forum an found this posted, dont remember who, But thanks. I tried what he said and finished this mission by being hostile to MF,
hid in space dust cloud, and sent Grayhair to deliver the data disk.
Sorry i did not look at my log file before i re-installed the game.

The poster said he dig through the log file, got a hint, eventually managed to resolve the bug.

Data\Scripts\Quests\mission_8c\EmpressSubjects_End oria1.script
find 2 lines with flight_pir1:SetGodMode(...
remove them.

problem resolved.

i don't think that it is compulsory to be hostile. just leave the system and then you get a new mail.

I'm having this same problem. The deleting of those two lines didn't work however. Was there more to it?
