Your missing my point a little bit buddy, Im not saying that there should be no updates or statements and as Nearmiss as said recently the communication as been very good, but it would be nice if any statements made or comments made were followed up if they failed to materialize, we are a forgiving lot that get confused by silence. For example if Oleg is not going to release in September or October a simple post from him telling us so cost him nothing and keeps us all in the loop, and most importantly stops speculation which in truth causes the most unrest on these forums.

Anyhow other than that I hope your well feuerfalke Ive not seen you around in a while.

The talk between Oleg and Luthier is really excellent. I like Luthier's talk; it's easy to see what the team are thinking through his posts. Additionally he's probably hurrying the team up so he can crack on with Korea.

Thanks god oleg and his team working for a new good sim... but unfortunatelly we have no any alternative here in the world. After those pics, we are going to be more impatient. This is oleg's crime; he has transformed me (and seems that some of us also) into a simulation monster when il2 released. Thats why only pics are going to be boring day after day. Lets pray for oleg and his team for finish their job quickly.

I´m starting to get used to the idea that SoW will be the sucessor for IL2,althought IL2 still have the crown.

I wonder what will come after SoW.Oleg could try a Cold War sim.

But ultimately we are the consumers and Oleg is the supplier and until the sim is released we may as well just sit down, look at the Friday update, drink an ice-cold beer and look forward to the Simulation event of the decade (just not sure which decade though!)

Cheers, MP
The Tao of SOW. My only question is, will a nice glass of bourbon do? (Quip aside, I'm with you Puma, and have been for some time.)

How long would it take from handing over the sim to the publishers so they can put in their DRM and copy protection etc and the product going gold?

Sounds like a great time to take a holiday to me!

Of course I am being overly optimistic and have often been told I live in a different world to normal people. (generally by my wife!)

Cheers!

But he didn't promise it. I think in future Oleg should just say its done when its done, it would be better for him and 1C, because people are bound to ask questions, i remember when it was stated on these very forums that we would have a dedicated SOW website by the end of December 2008, or when Oleg said we would get system specs in may 2008, if you make these commets then you are bound to be measured by them, what i do think is unaacceptable is to not give an explanition as to why these dates were missed it wouldn't take much would it, just a quick sorry guys we are not there yet type of comment. Im 100% certain that Oleg will not make is intended September release date but i feel sure we will get the same as normal i.e no comment. And when anyone dares to ask the question of what as happened then they get flamed on here by the fanbois, and so it all starts again. But it is all getting rather boring now.

This may be your best post, and I feel the same way
