Whenever I exit the game my desktop colours are all bugged with red lines/dots all over, I have to restart the machine to get the right colour palette again.

Sounds like you have a video card problem, have you seen similar dots or distortions in other games?

Either your video card is faulty or the driver doesn't clean up the memory properly after returning to the 2d video mode from d3d. Try using another driver.

Im on XP 32 with a gtx 260 with the newest WHQL drivers.
When I exit the game to the main menu, I can see the main menu colour palette is distorted too, but if I alt+tab to desktop, and then alt+tab back into the game then the colour palette is back to normal, and if I exit the game after that then the colour palette on my desktop is normal too.
(edit) I dont have this problem in any other game.

I must admit I have never seen this one before either, but the workaround seem to consistantly work, alt+tab to desktop, then alt+tab back to game, then exit with no problems, odd

Any one else experienced this?

I’ve been playing the game for a few days. Runs just fine. Then it rained. My framerate took a dive, almost to the point of being a slideshow.

Is this a known problem or am I unlucky again?
