If you choose Hostile in the option of enemy fire, ground objects are available to bomb but not sure of what variety of them in the different locations.
Yeah but you still have to fight enemy planes. what i was thinking of, was a HUGE mission for ground attack only. you know; trains that need to straffed and Bridges blown up to stop the train for getting away, tanks that caught fire by our 20 mm cannons. Missions like the raid on Peipers Tigers in the Buldge at mid-night. avoiding German planes that will chew us up for break fast since we're out numberd 20 to 1

Dive Bombing on German HQ and just straffing infantry on the ground and keeping close air support and stuff like that..?

I think if you could like stand up in your airplane although it would have to be a bomber but walk round see what it looks like interact with crew see damage and let co-pilot fly

the opportunity to change sides. be the italians, or the germans and go after the 17s in 202s, 109s, 190s, 110s, 163s, and 262s.

What I'd like to see, though it's pointless to hope for anything new in BOP, is for them to make use of all the huge maps and have bombing/intercept battles.

Not like strike where they start 5 miles from the target. Instead fly b17's and escorts from Britain to France, and the Germans only know their general location via early warning radar, and have to fly out and find them, and then they have time to attack them right instead of committing suicide

There should also be an RTB option in all modes where you can head back to base to refuel, rearm and maybe get a new plane. All except for the bombers.

The pc version has the option to switch planes after a death. I think the option to turn that on or off would be good.
I would also like to see (in arcade) some power up system for bombers. Power up to grandslam and maybe atom if you can rack up enough kills.
I know this will sound terrible to some but I would like to see some elusive high power weapons. Keeps people on their toes

To get back to the OPs' question. What would be awsome if this was in bop?

1. Everything we were promised

2. A better than half-assed MP lobby system

3. Equal attention to the 360 version. Blame MS and 505 all you want, it was nothing but an F you to 360 buyers by 505 and 1C. 1C could have put up a fight.

4. It would have been "awesome" if they did'nt just collect money from the console crowed to pay for whatever the new PC title is called. And don't deny it. 1C and 505 did nothing but mine me, and many other 360 buyers so they could make the PC title. (I don't include the PS3 buyers b/c at least you saw an update.)

5. Any respect for American fighters.

I would really like a Killcam.

This is probably just because I am a noob at BOP and want to see my many deaths from other player's... sorry Dkwookie's point of view.

It wouldve been awesome to have a monthly dlc (like forza 3) of new planes, different skins, and weapons for use in multiplayer (with maybe the odd new map thrown in). I wouldve prefered to see a Mk.XII or Mk.XIV Spitfire to a Mk.XVI.

How about a Grandslam'd Lancaster for XBL strike missions?!
