Default Will this setup run IL-2 1946?

I have an aging HP Dual Core AMD 4200 with a GEforce 6800gs video card.
Will this be enough power to run IL-2 1946?

If not will upgrading the video card be enough to get it to run at an average level?

Also what is the difference between Il-2 and Il-2 1946?

Thanks
RC

THe minimum specs for IL-2 are given on the DVD packaging, and I'd think you'll find them on Ubisofts site too, though anything recent is likely to meet the spec provided it has a separate graphics card.

There have been various versions of IL-2 released over the years. IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 is the latest, and the only sensible version to buy.

People generally have less difficulty installing from DVD than via download, so do that if you can.
