No idea when, but it will probably be fixed in a possible future patch. The 1C support did know about the problem, and honestly it doesn't sound like it's a really difficult thing to fix. Annoying as hell though

Yeah. 16:9 displays are so common nowadays that it's almost embarrasing it doesn't work.
