OK so I know I'm getting waaaay ahead of myself and I know the Il-2 obviously did not see action in the 1950's in Korea but then again it didn't see service in the Pacific either which some of us have asked for as a sequel SO... Would there be any interest in a Korean War sequel or version of this game? I mean lets be honest a lot of the pilots in Korea were in fact ex WW2 Soviet aces and this IS a Russian company. Are there any Korean War flight games? It would be very cool though, F9F, F-86, Mig's very cool stuff!

If you look back at Windows 95' & 98' there was a GREAT Korean War flight sim called MiG Alley. I don't know how many hours I killed on that game. But I think a Il-2 in Korea would be a great idea. I love F-86s myself, and I've got many books on it as well. I think a Korean War game would be just what the console community needs now.
Funny because, I was also thinking earlier, about what if they made a Korean War game ![]() |

Korea would be easier to do because the number of planes to model would be far fewer, but I think this game engine would be fantastic for the BEST WW1 sim ever done.
The reduced speed and turning radii would keep the visual action so in your face personal. Knife fighters bliss ![]() |
