Question on Fighters with Mixed Armament

...can the light machine guns be operated separately from the Cannons? Or, vice versa?

I, obviously, don't have the Game yet, and would like to know...

no, they can't... they all fire off at the same time.

not s huge dealbreaker... but with limited ammo it could stink without an option to fire independently.

I take it you at least run out of Cannon Ammo before light M/G ammo, right?

I don't know... since I have not run without unlimited ammo yet... but thats mostly due to me not being able to use the controller right because the control sticks are opposite of how my brain works.

not sure about limited ammo, but i would guess they would run out at the same time, due to fire rates... but thats just a guess.

Yes, the cannon runs out first on the Spitfire. Its a MkIIb so I think theres only 60 rounds per gun

Not tried the IX yet but that should have 120rnds.
