control issues w/ 360 pad help.
First, ya I know, get a flight-stick. Here are some tips that helped me to fly better with the pad.
1. Turn down the alerion sensitivity to about 1/2.
2. Turn down the Elevator sensitivity to about 1/4.
3. (obviously) try and keep your speed up. Contrary to popular belief, you dont turn better flying slower.
The alerion and elevator controls differ for each plane, so find you basic setup that you like and tinker depending on the plane. ex. I find with the spit I can be a little more liberal with the sensitivity, up a notch or two more to really get all the performance out of that one. On the other hand, I tune it down for the P-51, Too much sensivity in that one, and you fly like a rock. Down a couple notches below 1/2 n 1/4 and she will turn with the best.
One issue I'm still having, when I'm in a long flat turn, the plane starts and stops during the turn and almost constant stall warning. (serriously, I cant turn 180 at 300+ mph without a stall warning??) Any help?
