Default Steam - Version 1.7 Patch

Hello,

I was playing King's Bounty without problems earlier this morning. This afternoon, Steam automatically loaded the 1.7 patch for the game. Now, when I attempt to load a file from the Eastern Islands or move onto the Eastern Islands from a different location, the game crashes.

How do I resolve this issue?

Thank you,
Ken Hood

Exact same problem for me; the game was working fine yesterday, but with the 1.7 patch any attempt to travel to the Isles of Freedom crashes to desktop. I can travel to Arlania, Verdon and Marshan just fine, including entering dungeons and combat. But the boat to the isles crashes me 100% of the time. The boat departs, the loading screen comes up and finishes loading, then it crashes.

I'm having the same issue. After the Steam version of the 1.7 patch was automatically installed, KB:TL crashes every time I try to go the Islands of Freedom after asking Kitano.

Yep, that's me too. Is there a way to uninstall 1.7 for now?

Yeah, given my last 6 hours of savegames are somewhere within the Isles, I am basically boned out of playing the game entirely until something is done about this.

Please send help.

My first day off in 2 weeks... anxious to play KB all day... BAM! same stupid crash while trying to reach the Islands, since Steam automatically updated my game...

Can we hope for a fast ''before the week-end'' hot-fix?

Sigh... Why does those stupid bugs ALWAYS happens on a friday? To be sure we have to wait all week-end until next monday for a fix ?
