Question Help me,please!! I am so worried!!!

I am an IL-2 player,using X52.

Now,I have found a very odd problem:
the Z rotation is normal in the driver test,but it couldn't adjust from 0 to 100 smoothly (if you twist the RH of X52 a little, the rudder to be 100%!!!)in the IL-2 Game!!! Never happened this! I can't endure this for it effects my shooting.

Why could this happen??? It is normal in the driver test!!(OS:XP) But abnormal in the IL-2 Game!!! I think the hardware is OK. It maybe a software problem.

I have tried every method I know but no result eventhough I have reinstalled the Game!!

Could anyone here help me?? I don't want to reinstall my OS!!!!!!
I am very worried about that!!

Actually, it sounds like it might be a hardware problem. How old is your stick? If you play a lot, you'll probably only get 3-4 years out of an x52 (on the outside)

Actually, I just bought it last year,I don't play it very often.

I don't think it is hardware problem because in the hardware driver test items,
it works very normally (Z rotation can be adjusted from 0 to 100 very smoothly).

Just in the game, the Z rotation is abnormal......

Default Do you share a USB hub

with a Track IR or another peripheral that you might use in game.

I once had an issue with Track IR sharing a USB hub with another devise. I placed it in an empty hub and all was fine.

Try that.


Have you changed your IL2 input sensitivities by accident? Look in the CONFIG file to be certain. The place your looking for is 2/3rds of the way down and starts with:

[rts_joystick]
X=0 1 4 9 16 25 36 49 64 81 100 0
Y=0 1 4 9 16 25 36 49 64 81 100 0
Z=0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100
RZ=0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 0


These are my settings.

I only use X52 in the USB hub

And my CONFIG file is just as same as yours, but Z rotation still doesn't work...

Default an EASY ONE...finally

Simple,
Bind Z Rotation slider to another assignment that works smoothly, and bind the assignment that worked smoothly to your Z rotation.

If the problem is with the Z Slider, any assignment you make to it will be glitchy.
