The heaviest fighter in the war.
![]() I don't expect it in BoB, but it ought to be in SoW somewhere. |

Fw-200 Condor is the second of the biggest fighters in "BoB" - lets do not forget him too...

I know it's early WIP, but that looks wrong, the colour scheme should be white sides to the hull, and where is the top turret? For later marks the top turret may have been omitted, but the early (BoB period) Sunderlands would have had them. In the early part of the war, the Sunderlands mission included an anti-air element, they were required to defend convoys in mid Atlantic. Later in the war, when CAMs and escort carriers became available, their mission would have been mainly anti-submarine, but in the early war bomber inteception (well out of range of anyone's single engined, or probably twin engined, fighters) would have been a concern. |

Early war Sunderlands had no white sides or white from the step to the lower part of the turret white. There was even one Sunderland with black undersides. |

![]() I have few references on the Sunderland, all the images I have, or remember having seen, had white sides. What references would anyone recommend on the Sunderland? |

White sides would usually mean Coastal Command.
