Default The glass is half full.

Offline play is still flawed for all the known reasons that are being fixed, very slowly. Online is a different matter though. Flying against human competition really makes this game shine. with the right equipment, online, this game is a blast. So instead of being bummed out on the offline experience I just play the game online for now and am enjoying myself a lot.

I also turned my settings down from high/very high to medium with grass and shadows enabled. Still looks fantastic compared to Il2-1946. Frame rates up from 30 to 45fps offline. Online I'm running 55-60fps (vsync enabled) and it's smooth as silk (scimitar map at ATAG). Just wanted to make some optimistic noises. Everyone is getting antsy about the patch not showing up and meanwhile I'm having the time of my life online! Focus on what we have instead of what we have not.

Yes online with thinking opponants of random skill level is priceless! Even more so when you work as a team on Teamspeak 3.

i5-2500K@4.3mhz, 2 x gtx680(non sli though for il2Clod) 8gb ram, 240gb ssd.
This looks like a lot of horsepower but I'm playing either on a 30 inch 2560x1600 (the fps numbers are for that one) or three 22 inch 3370x1680 in surround mode. Numbers for the surround are a few fps lower. I tried sli but the gain is maybe 5% with microstutters. Single gtx680 is smooth as a knife going thru butter.
