Default Is it just me or does the AA not do anything?

I put 20 or so 3.7 inch AA guns on the ground and flew my he111 around... didn't accrue any damage whatsoever?

Is their a trick to setting them up possibly?

Come to ATAG server and spawn at Hawkinge and look up for 30 seconds...you'll notice the AA doing nothing to the 109's above you, maybe the Red's AA does nothing.

Ermmm, you are all wrong. The 3.7 inch as far as I can tell is much like the German 88, its both AA and AT, the 3 inch is AA.
The AA does take some time to "wake up".
Fly atag and fly blue and head over to hawkinge where they have 9 bofors to each airfield.

You will be shot down to red AA/A. I garentee.

Try changing them to the 3 inch stand alone-C, I know they work for me, unfortunately.

I can tell you that the flack works just fine. Try putting a sound locator with the guns. Will improve their response.

Just cause u have 20 flack does not mean u will be shot from sky every time. It takes them some time to get more accurate as u fly around. After a while you will die.

Well maybe the 3.7 inch is not the right application or is not working properly.

I will have to try the 3 inch then.

Yes bofors are not a problem but they are short range.

3.5km is short range? Its beyond their range more like. That really should be fixed.
