What gun sight reticle is that? Never seen that one before.

Oops, you are flying without a cockpit.

When I read the title and saw you posted a youtube-movie, I actually though you were showing off some formation flying, group-tactics and teamwork-kills, going SEAD before bombing the target, attacking formations from different angles at the same time and stuff.

No need to be so tough on a fellow IL2 fan. He's just sharing the passion.

Nice editing.

U mean like "we" FW190 joks do on a regular basis in cockpit on servers, as in blind? Strange thing that is, seems FW designers couldnt put good forward visebillity into the ac to save thire lifes...or as it where, the pilots. Allies on the other hand has that forward panorama wiew nailed down cold...strange thing indeed. Or maby all FW pilots where midgets and that is accuratly simulated in IL2?

Closed pit actually makes it easier doging bullits

Cockpit on or off, u still need to be able to aim, and hit.

Well, it's a film. I'm not doing the holier than thou bit but I just don't see the point of flying outside the cockpit. It's ok for watching tracks and learning but beyond that, I don't get it.

But, that's not what the thread is about, so, yes, it's nice clean film. It didn't make me nauseous etc and it didn't give me any sense of atmosphere or 'presence'. Sorry. No offence intended.

But you're right - never fly alone - join a Squadron/Geschwader, etc.
