Default An idea for a "What if?" scenario

I'm not entirely sure if this would even be possible in the CloD engine but I had a rather odd thought the other day about a possible future mod.

My modding skills are absolutely non-existent but I was wondering if anyone else had considered the following possibility?

Imagine the scene.... you are up in the air with your Spitfire squadron, just doing a routine patrol, when you notice a series of dots on the horizon that appear to be getting closer every second. They are definitely not 109s, of that you are certain........

Enter the Hanebu Mk II!

If anyone here is unaware of what that was (Allegedly), I suggest you watch one of the trailers for the new film "Iron Sky"

You gotta admit, as a "What if" scenario, it would be rather fun, no?

Haunebu, 'au' instead of 'a' - for those like myself who have no idea what that was and have to go check the wikipedia

LOL. I typed it before my first coffee of the day.... never a good idea.

I stand corrected.

I think I was thinking of Haribo for some ridiculous reason. The perils of having the PC next to the television, perhaps?

Personally, I never dealt with 'what if' series or thing like 'luftwaffe 46', maybe some aviation artworks attracted me a bit for evocative atmospheres...
sorry

No need to apologise. lol Different horses for different courses and all that...

I just think it would be a fun distraction. There is something rather sad, flying for blue team, knowing that no matter what you do..... you ultimately lose. The idea that, if D Day had never happened, or at the very least happened too late, our skies could have been filled with saucer craft is rather fascinating to me.

I definitely believe they were considered as a project and, perhaps, even a couple of prototypes were constructed. I draw the line at them being used to spirit the Fuhrer away to a distant star system, mind.
