Strange how we laugh at what we perceive to be funny clothes, when at the time we probably consider them the height of fashion. '70's flares, '80's big shoulder pads etc etc. I remember them all unfortunately!

OMG, the picture where he smiles for the camera is somewhat creepy

as for lederhosen, they're still big in Germany, I wore them and boy were they cool! Second only to kilts!
