Man their AC are incredible. How about that Wirraway I hope we didn't loose many airmen in what was obviously totally unsuitable plane. Did you notice the difference in stability of the wing mounted camera between the Spitfire and Wirraway?

I assume the Wirraway was the Ausi version of the "US" Texan and "Commonwealth" Harvard, I remember reading that the Harvard was used in combat briefly at the begining of the war, but didn't know anyone used these as a front line fighter. I am amazed any came back against 100-8 odds with zeros. A Wirraway sure wouldn't be able to turn with them, I wonder if they could outrun a zero?

That's great! I want that too, but I think my school wants to spend money on computers not warbirds

When COD first came out and I spent way tooo much time playing I remember dreaming I was back at school and we would fly WW2 fighter planes in a flying club. Hmmm, maybe I should keep that memory to myself.
