Clock Time Display

Ever since the beginning I've had the current real clock time displayed in the middle of the top screen edge. It's shown in red digits in GMT and behind that within brackets in my time zone.
Font and size otherwise similar to the window context menus, but in red, and it never fades away. It remains there throughout the whole flight.

There's no way to influence that time display with the mouse, it's obviously not within any editable window.

I haven't bothered with it before, but since it does not show in any CoD screenshot or video by others, I finally want to get rid of it, too.

Any suggestions, plz?

It's part of the customizable Chat messages box. You can change colors, remove it, or change the format/location displayed. The part that was hard in trying to figure this one out, is that it doesn't LOOK like its part of that same box!

After some fiddling in the message box, I finally stumbled on the correct setting, half by accident. It is not very user friendly, but the main thing: I got it fixed now, thanks to your guidance, Cheesehawk!
