Hey gang:
On multiplayer and a discussion came up on what resolution to use for better visibility to spot an enemy. My res. only goes to 1280X1024 75 Hx. The guys on Team Speak had numbers way higher than that. My issue is these guys were certainly spotting stuff way before I could. Ideas here ?? Well what size is your monitor? Sounds like a 17" or 19" or something like that.

Jepp, would, you can also switch off all details, go for lowest settings and lowest resolution... like the guys who switched off trees in old 1946 to better spot contacts...
![]() I hope that is not a serious recommendation...

It's sad that people indeed do that in order to win. And above all call it a 'tactic'.

Basically the bigger and higher max resolution your monitor is, used along with a super low resolution in game would make distant planes alot easier to spot. Just as cheesehawk has said. Instead of using one pixel for a distant object at max resolution it would use multiple at a lower res, thus making it easier to see...
