Hi, for those of you using an older PC. that is still running Windows 7 32-bit system, I may have good news for you. I just downloaded the new 285.62 Nvidia Drivers System for 32 bit Windows7 and wow!, what an improvement. I went from barely playible at 12 to 15 frames a sec. to over 75fps. without vsync. and maxed out at 60 fps. with vsync enabled. That is with everything set on Max./High..........No more shuttering ....it is now truely a great game as witnessed by others with a 64 bit high end system....my system is Intel Quad2 core Q 9450 2.66 gigs CPU, 4 gigs ram. and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 1 gig. video card. I thought I would pass this along to other users of a 32 bit windows 7 system....and of course I have the latest patch V1.05.15950 of COD....good luck.......

Is love to see a before and after video. That kind of performance gain is quite unheard of, for any game.

LOL, an older pc with win7 32bit, if that is older than why are people still demanding xp support for this game?
Anyways, something magical must have happened between the beta driver and the new whql driver. I at least didn't notice any performance gain with the latest beta driver, but since it's now whql I'll download and install it at some point soon anyways. |

If you are happy, we are happy
![]() The only thing that annoys me I that I already have these drivers loaded. Tell me the specs of your PC and I will run to buy the same ![]() On a more serious note, good for you, you are lucky you can enjoy the game now!!!! Obviously the new driver installation did some changes somewhere and unleashed a whole lot of power! If it can happen? I can say yes, we had that same experience back in 2004 when we were running IL2 with the ATI Catalyst 4.9 drivers but with the ATI 4.7 atioglxx.dll and had 50% higher fps with the same quality (we had 9800pro and X800 cards those days....). I wish we could find what it is and I wish it could do the same to my Win7-64bit... ~S~ |

I think it's quite safe to call BS on this one.

Jesus guys, what a bunch of self-congratulatory cynics.
Why would the OP even bother to come here and tell us if it wasn't true for him? Perhaps the fact that he cleared entirely anything to do with his existing Nvidia drivers may have been the answer, maybe that was holding him back, but that at least is worthwhile info for anyone suffering similar problems and much more worth consideration than e-peening "its BS".
