Default System Spec's the Dev's are using?

Many folks here, post their system spec's...it is much appreciated and helpful.
The dev's, who have posted, don't.

It makes me wonder?
If they are using "dated" equipment..or the latest whiz bang stuff?
I believe the very nice folks doing the Beta testing here, might find that info
helpful and less frustrating...

It seems to me?
It would be difficult, to impossible, to optimize this sim with dated equipment.

I see many folks here, arguably, working just as hard as the dev's.

The devs are using average systems. If they used high end systems they may not feel the insentive to optimize for low end systems.

yes, I for sure know that they use a Voodoo3DX video card and a 486DX as cpu

The only card I know they have is an Nvidia 275GTX as Ilya used that on some video (pre release)... And that's rather old and in the bottom of the specs.

In the Meet The Team thread posted by Luthier, he said they were installing a 570 GTX into one of the machines.

LOL even that doesnt have enough video ram to run this thing. Yet.

They should be using a wide range of systems. SLI and crossfire systems too.

That's along the lines of my thinking furbs....
If I recall accurately ?
When the game debuted a year ago?
The systems used were "sub par", to include memory, graphics and OS.
For the same reasons that folks post their specs here....
Perhaps the dev's should as well....

This is the only sim/game I play....I sure would like to be able to
justify my GTX465 in a swap for a GTX580 3gig....sigh...maybe, in
a couple of more patches....

I’ll bet dated equipment had nothing to do with the lack of development of this game; Oleg's only interest was with all the eye candy.

I do believe that Luthier and his team are taking a different approach ...
