Why do the AI fly straight into hills and mountains? Is this historically accurate? I never knew there were so many suicidal pilots in WW2!

It's because they don't "see" hills. Just like they don't see clouds.
Meaning you can't hide from them either ![]() The AI learned one thing: The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. |

It happened regularly in bad weather. I remember in fact a group of Fairy Battles lost to the coasts of Norway and a couple of German Ju-87 flights lost during a dive attack in Poland...
