Hi All
Just purchased the joystick throttle and rudder set . I cant configure my joystick to work with this game everytime the aircraft banks to the right and spins and crashes . All my other games are working correctly yet this game refuses to stabilize my joystick . Are there any other users who could assist or send their config ini setup ? Thanks Gary |

Make sure you do not have your axes assign to different functions. Looks like you did.

Can you tell me how this has happened and more importantly how I resolve.
Thanks for your help Gary |

I have a g940 and have no problems, sometimes if the initial axis assignments arent made then alot of games seem to just assign default values to whatever axis it thinks logical, so i've seen the throttle controlling pitch and roll etc, but this is all solved by setting up in the control setup menu. |

Check your sensitive settings in CoD, i got 940 too and when i first time loaded game they was really bad(allmost min/full movement only when moved joystick a very little), so check deadzone and linearity in game, when flying check that ailerons is moving smoothly when you use them.

I've had no problems with the flight controls, although I did have an issue with throttle - that was down to one of the twin engine throttles somehow being reversed, with the result that when flying single-engine the throttles were in conflict and became a binary switch.
This sounds a bit like what you're describing, perhaps? Anyway, resolving the conflict sorted it out, so perhaps you've got two controls trying to drive the ailerons? I think (it's a week ago, so not sure anymore!) that I assigned all the controls after I noticed it saw Joysticks 1 and 2 in the control panel, and when I assigned the axes some did change from 2 to 1. |

Still not set up to my liking for all of them though. Make sure you delete all existing axes controls in the controls menus and re-assign them to how you want them set up as you go along. I had a similar problem until I realised how to a)assign all controls to where I want them, and b) use the profiling software . The biggest problem I currently have is in IL2, where the stick is almost locked solid when flying a spit! Even turning all forces down to 5% still has it very stiff. Also make sure you download the latest software and update the firmware as per the guidance here, http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showth...fficial-notice very useful stuff. Good Luck! ![]() Last edited by ATAG_Dutch; 05-16-2011 at 02:19 PM. |

Is there anyone who knows an inofficial solution to get rid of the reversal bug on all the axises since there is no offficial?
I would advice anyone thinking about buying the G940 not to do it till they have solved all the problems with it. Logitech is useless concerning the G940.

Maybe if you set it up i.e by pushing the stick/throttle away, you should retry set up by pulling it towards? Cliffs of Dover and all other sims have no problems with this for me. Peculiar. ![]() Last edited by ATAG_Dutch; 05-16-2011 at 02:12 PM. |

Thankyou for all your replies so far
Do you recommend setting up the logitech profiler software first ? or just configuring in the game ? Also i know how to delete the keys in control menu not sure how to select joystick... This seems over complicated never had any issues before on any other sim in all my years ! |
