Default Track IR

According to the Track IR website this game is not listed as been supported, but in game it sort of works.

http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/...es-flight.html

My question is basically is it supported?

Thanks

It is supported. and works very well ingame. Although for them to list the game, apparently there is somthing the developers need to do before that can happen. the TIR spokesman said this in a thread somewhere. The issue will be lower down in the priority lists, expect to see it in the future.

Glad to hear that. I am tempted to buy a TrackIR5, but not so sure since it is relatively expensive (it is a toy afterall). Knowing that it is working well with CloD is a step forward to purchase for me.

Works just fine, especially with a custom profile to fit your playing/posture style.

Getting the game listed will allow TIR to load your choice of flight profile automatically with it but otherwise there isn't much difference. We're just waiting for Luthier to get around to getting back to NaturalPoint when he has a chance.

A word of caution to anyone who is using the Pro Clip ... handle it as if it was gold foil ...

http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/...r=43804&page=1

Mine broke in Feb and I still haven't heard back from Natural Point about claiming it under warrantee, I'm in my last month of warrantee and I'm about to hit the panic button!

EDIT: Just checked my emails .. Micheal from Natural Point has shipped a replacement today!!! That is customer service.

I play RoF as well as IL-2 46/CoD and I use the same TrackIR profile for both games (I have TrackIR 5).

I downloaded my TrackIR profile from here: http://riseofflight.com/forum/viewto...&hilit=trackir (see signature of OP in that thread - "Requiem 6DOF.rar")

It takes some getting used to, and you may want to tweak it to better suit you, but its a good starting point.

I to felt like that before I purchased TiR.

I thought I was spending money on a "treat", a frivolous toy, but as it was something I knew I wanted I thought "what the hell, if im going to buy it ONE day, why not now? Why delay ?

Now one year later I could not ever consider flying without it, never for one moment have I regreted buying it. Besides when you consider the investment you have made in your complete rig, software and how fast all these items become obsolete its not THAT expensive in fact its virtually a sound investment !

My advice is, if its on your "to do" list just do it, why put off the moment ?
