Default I'm thinking Xbox now.

I'm at a stage now, between waiting too long for Sony to get their s51t together and my uncontrollable desire to get back into the air, where I'm within an inch of going out and getting an Xbox. I don't think I can wait any longer to be honest. We're not getting any solid news or dates from Sony and when or if we get our airfields/aircraft back how do know that the same crap is gonna happen again. I'd love to know what you other pilots think. Any feedback I'd really appreciate from both PS3 and Xbox owners.

Well, i'm an xbox'er so I lean toward yes, go xbox.

Still a lot of players on with new ones popping up weekly.

short answer to me would be yes if you could afford it (doesn,t mean because you have the money in the bank or you have a credit card).its funny that you mention it because ive been reading the posts about the ps3 situation almost everyday .i also read a thread on the xbox forumn on whether it could happen to us.i got the feeling it could almost as easily but these guys were just speculating.probably the only way i would do it was if all my buddies would otherwise i would wait it out a little longer.

Used my boys 360 and although ps3 offline at the mo i would bet ps3 had more games on il2 . Get the Kinnect buddy you can hold out your arms and feel the weapons load . No , in all honesty i would rather sony take time and get it right than rush it and turn it off and on for the next couple of days/weeks/months/years

thanks guys, all very valid points. appreciate your feedback. i'll hang on 'till the weekend at least and see what's happening. if sony at that stage still isn't giving an actual realistic start up date, i'm turning to the dark side.

Well Irish I have asked myself the same question over an over. I just have to many good friends like yourself to not give this a bit more time. I do recommed reading Dantes Inferno as you wait this out. Seriously though If I were to consider a new platform I would probaly give the pc version the nod. As for now we continue our spring of discontent and finish out the Phony War. Take care friend and see you on my six in that 51 soon.

thanks for your kind words walter. yeah i'm really missing every one of you guys too. this outage is madness complete and utter crap on a grand scale. i'd never walk away from my ps3 buddies. i'd be getting the xbox purely as an addition, play against the xbox pilots on this forum and undoubtely make more great friends. i have to get back up there or i'll go loopy lol. oh btw ... here's the latests blog from sony... "I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process. "

Hang in there Irish...........I have thought about it too, even having both...

I fiqure this..........

1) I would miss the Great player's 110%

2) PS3 + Mrs WildBoar = certain danger of harm and threat of withdrawl of WildBoar's benifit's and priviledge's .... playing too long i get that look from her...yo know like she's been licking p*ss of stingy nettles

PS3 + XBOX + Mrs WildBoar = divorce / mutilatition / castration....or chopped up and fed to the pig's....Im a Coward....we all are !!
